Acquisition by Pepperl+Fuchs and move to Mannheim, featuring control cabinet manufacturing, mechanical production, a technical center, and a training center.
Asia and the Americas
A dedicated VMT department starts at Pepperl+Fuchs Shanghai, followed by the first projects in the USA and Mexico.
Own footing in China and the USA
VMT Shanghai becomes an independent company. In the same year, the first US location opens in Birmingham, Alabama.
3D measurement and a second US site
Portfolio expansion through the integration of Espace 6D GmbH, a specialist in mobile 3D measurement technology. A second US location opens in Ann Arbor, Michigan.
